New Fire Reaction Certifications for NEOTEX Flooring Systems!

The self-leveling flooring systems Epoxol^® Floor and Neodur^® Floor SF have been successfully tested and certified in terms of their reaction to fire acc. to EN 13501-1, by an independent accredited laboratory. Based on the test results, both systems are classified in the "flame-retardants" class of B_fl-s1.
 
What does this mean?​
B_fl: Difficult to ignite and extremely low contribution to fire spread​
s1: Zero or extremely low smoke production during combustion​
 
Why is this important?​
Certificates of B_fl-s1 classification meet fire reaction requirements for floors in most types of buildings, covering the increasing construction need for optimal fire protection.
 
The new certifications complement the existing specialized certifications of the Epoxol^® Floor and Neodur^® Floor SF systems, such as the ones of suitability for use in the food industry, as well as in LEED projects, with respect to VOC emissions.
